Proxy Fire is currently the best free software for sorting through lists of proxy servers, so here’s a brief tutorial on how to use it for scanning proxy lists ( Download ).
1. Open ProxyFire and click on P-Search tab, then click on GO.
2. Leech / Get as many proxys you want and then click STOP.
3. Now click on CHECK NOW to check all proxy servers.
4. Once checking is done, click on PROXY FILTER to filter out proxys.
5. Now click on IMPORT, to import the files you just finished checking.
(CHECKED FILES ARE PLACED IN PROXYFIRE/LISTS/CHECK FOLDER.)

6. Import files that need filtering and click GO.
7. Now click RESULT DIR and CHECK and move filtered proxies to new notepad & repeat when needed.
